The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) required a nominations procedure that would enable them to select awardees and allow the nominators to state the reasons why they had nominated a particular individual.
55degrees & Penna worked with DWP on communicating their Transformation Program to their 17,000 staff. Part of this process included celebrating staff successes and achievements. VOXUR was used to allow staff to nominate individuals and leave a video saying why the individual deserved the award.
These videos were then included at an awards event which took place in 4 locations through out the country. The event was filmed, edited and broadcast via a live feed, enabling all 4 locations to act as one and for all to enjoy the successes of the transformation program and the recognition of their colleagues.

Penna - HR Consulting Day
Penna invited 100 of their client partners, associates and colleagues to the Manor House in Suffolk for a one day conference to help them learn more about Penna and its human resources consulting services. Directors from Penna delivered presentations about the company and its strategy – a major feature of the day was making connections and networking.
55degrees captured the day for them using the Gold Conference package with a 2 person video crew and VOXUR portable with support. Penna used the option of an additional film using VOXUR Portable for feedback on the day. This enabled the attendees to give feedback about what they gained from the day, which was then presented as a short video summary at the end of the conference.
To help continue the dialogue after the event, 55degrees created a bespoke web page for Penna employees to view the film and share comments.

Recruitment is a key part of any organisation. With the current economic climate the number of applicants has risen significantly, with a wealth of paper based CV’s coming through the door for available vacancies.
55 Degrees & VOXUR continue to expand their team due to significant growth. Within the VOXUR team we have recently recruited 2 new Account Managers and personality is key within this role: skills can be taught, personality is your own.
The amount of time, effort, resource and organisation to sift through a wealth of paper based CV’s and meet selected candidates was something the existing VOXUR team had to spend time on, but simply could not afford… in stepped VOXUR!
Within this application process we were able to invite a wealth of applicants for initial interviews, briefly meet with them, allow VOXUR to carry out the initial interview and capture their personality to allow internal work to continue.
With a normal interview process how do you remember who you have met and in what order? Who’s personality really stood out? How do you now get line managers and company directors whose time is precious to buy into the candidate and show they are a fit within the organisation without calling all candidates back…….visual CV profiles using VOXUR. Upon second interview Directors had an idea of who this individual was, reducing their time spent interviewing and allowing the selection process to be well resourced and effective.

Scottish Book Trust required the means to produce a series of Podcasts which reflected the attitude and work of the SBT.
To achieve a series of podcasts within their budget, and to ensure that we didn’t limit Scottish Book Trust’s choice in terms of geographical location, we sent VOXUR to each of the authors. Sending VOXUR to their working or living environment meant we achieved a higher level of personal insight into their influences and inspiration as well as their working process. This also allowed us to directly evidence the audience base for their touring programme such as the Michael Rosen tour.
